New Arrivals · 2026
The latest Seiko releases, now available at Watch Direct — first look, specs and availability.
2026 is a milestone year for Seiko — the brand turns 145 — and the newest models to land in our Seiko collection mark the occasion in style. This drop spans three very different corners of the range: a limited-edition anniversary diver, a smoke-grey Cocktail Time GMT, and an all-new Seiko 5 Sports Field line that arrives in four colourways at once. Here's a first look at every new model and where it fits.
The New Releases at a Glance
Six new Seiko references just arrived, across three stories — an anniversary limited edition, a travel-ready dress GMT, and a brand-new field-watch line.
- Prospex 145th Anniversary Diver's HBB001K — a 200m diver limited to 9,999 pieces, marking Seiko's 145th year
- Presage Cocktail Time GMT SSK049J — a smoke-grey "Silver Bullet" dress watch with a true GMT hand
- Seiko 5 Sports Field — an all-new automatic field line with a compass bezel, in four colourways

What's New from Seiko in 2026
Seiko was founded in 1881, which makes 2026 its 145th anniversary — and as it usually does for a milestone year, the brand is marking it with a limited edition rather than fanfare. But the more interesting story across this drop is breadth: in a single wave Seiko has refreshed the dress, travel and tool-watch ends of its catalogue at once, so whether you want something for the boardroom, the departure lounge or the trailhead, there's a new model with your name on it.
The common thread is value in places you wouldn't expect it. A genuine GMT complication on a dress watch, a 200m anniversary diver, and a fully-equipped automatic field watch with a compass bezel and day-date — all sitting in Seiko's accessible tiers rather than its luxury ones. That has always been Seiko's trick, and this release leans into it hard.
"In one wave Seiko has refreshed the dress, travel and tool ends of its range — and kept every one of them in its accessible tiers."
Seiko Prospex 145th Anniversary Diver's HBB001K
Just Landed · Limited Edition
The headline release of the drop. To mark 145 years since the company's founding, Seiko Prospex has produced a diver limited to 9,999 pieces worldwide, with a clean white dial and a blue seconds hand — an unusual, dressier look for a tool diver that sets this anniversary piece apart from Seiko's usual black-and-blue dive watches.

The Prospex 145th Anniversary HBB001K runs Seiko's automatic Caliber 4R35 — self-winding with hand-winding and a stop-seconds function, and around a 41-hour power reserve — inside a boldly contoured 41.7mm stainless steel case rated to a true 200m. It pairs a two-tone silver-and-blue one-way rotating bezel with a screw-down crown, a screw case back engraved with its limited-edition status, generous LumiBrite, a Hardlex crystal and a stainless steel bracelet. As a limited edition it's exactly the kind of Seiko that sells out and doesn't return — if the white-dial diver speaks to you, don't wait on it.
Seiko Presage Cocktail Time GMT SSK049J
Just Landed
The Cocktail Time line is built around bartender-inspired, light-catching dials, and this new SSK049J — nicknamed the "Silver Bullet" for its smoke-grey dial — adds the one thing the collection was missing: a GMT. It's a dress watch you can actually travel with, a second time zone hidden inside a watch that still reads as formal.

The Presage Cocktail Time GMT SSK049J is powered by the automatic Caliber 4R34, which adds an independent 24-hour GMT hand for a second time zone alongside the date, with hand-winding, a stop-seconds function and roughly a 41-hour reserve. The smoke-grey sunburst dial sits under a vintage-style box Hardlex crystal in a 40.5mm stainless steel case, with an exhibition case back showing the movement and a cow-leather strap with quick-release spring bars. Water resistance is 50m. At 40.5mm it wears as a true dress watch — the GMT just means it's equally at home on a flight as at the dinner table.
"A second time zone hidden inside a watch that still reads as formal — the Cocktail Time finally gets a GMT."
Seiko 5 Sports Field — Four New Colourways
Just Landed
The biggest news for everyday buyers is an all-new field-watch line within Seiko 5 Sports, launching with four references at once. Field watches are having a moment, and Seiko's take brings the things people actually want from the genre — legibility, ruggedness and a rotating compass bezel — at Seiko 5 Sports money.
HDB006K · Black · Steel bracelet
HDB007K · White · Steel bracelet
HDB008K · Khaki Green · Nylon
HDB009K · Brown · Nylon
Every version shares the same core: a 41mm stainless steel case, the automatic Caliber 4R36 (self-winding with hand-winding and around a 41-hour reserve), a day-date display, a rotating compass bezel, LumiBrite on the hands and markers, a curved Hardlex crystal, a see-through case back and 100m water resistance. What changes is the look and how you wear it:
- HDB006K — glossy black dial on a stainless steel bracelet; the most versatile, dress-down-to-work option.
- HDB007K — crisp white dial on a stainless steel bracelet; the brightest, most legible of the four.
- HDB008K — khaki green earth-tone dial on a lightweight nylon strap; the purist's field-watch pick.
- HDB009K — warm brown dial on a nylon strap; the most casual, outdoors-ready of the set.
If you want one watch that handles the office on a bracelet, go for the black or white steel models. If you want a genuine outdoors companion, the green and brown nylon-strap versions are lighter on the wrist and built for it.

When can I buy the new Seiko 2026 models in Australia?
All six new models — the Prospex 145th Anniversary Diver's HBB001K, the Presage Cocktail Time GMT SSK049J, and the four Seiko 5 Sports Field references — are available now at Watch Direct, with fast dispatch Australia-wide.
How many of the Seiko Prospex 145th Anniversary diver were made?
The Prospex HBB001K is a limited edition of 9,999 pieces worldwide, marking Seiko's 145th anniversary (the company was founded in 1881). Limited editions are produced in a fixed run and are not restocked once sold out, so availability is finite.
Does the Seiko Presage Cocktail Time GMT have a true GMT function?
Yes. The Cocktail Time GMT SSK049J uses Seiko's Caliber 4R34, which drives an independent 24-hour GMT hand for tracking a second time zone, alongside the date. It's an automatic movement with hand-winding in a 40.5mm case, so it works as both a dress watch and a travel watch.
What's the difference between the four Seiko 5 Sports Field models?
All four share a 41mm steel case, the automatic Caliber 4R36, a day-date, a rotating compass bezel and 100m water resistance. They differ in dial colour and strap: the black (HDB006K) and white (HDB007K) come on stainless steel bracelets, while the khaki green (HDB008K) and brown (HDB009K) come on lightweight nylon straps for a more casual, outdoors feel.
Are the new Seiko field watches automatic?
Yes. Every Seiko 5 Sports Field model uses the automatic (self-winding) Caliber 4R36, which also supports manual hand-winding. There's no battery — the watch is powered by the motion of your wrist.
Does Watch Direct sell genuine Seiko watches?
Yes. Watch Direct is an authorised Seiko retailer in Australia. Every Seiko we sell is genuine, supplied with official Seiko packaging, and backed by a full Australian manufacturer's warranty.
