Powering this 41mm men's chronograph is the world's first curved high-performance quartz movement, oscillating at 262kHz — a frequency far beyond standard quartz that delivers exceptional timekeeping precision. The architecture of the movement allows the watch to sit at just 10.1mm thin, remarkable for a full 5-hand chronograph. The semi-translucent brown dial offers a partial view into the movement below, with lumed skeletonised hands and applied indices ensuring legibility around the clock. A newly introduced interchangeable strap system adds everyday flexibility, allowing the wearer to switch between the integrated bracelet and black rubber strap without tools. Protected by a sapphire crystal and finished to a high standard throughout, the CURV 96K117 is a compelling case for high-frequency quartz in a segment often dominated by mechanical movements.
