The Ball Engineer III Legend II NM9016C-S5C-BKR is a limited edition men's watch that hides a genuinely unusual party trick behind a classic face.
Its 40mm 904L stainless steel case carries a black dial with baton indices, protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screwed-in crown. The COSC chronometer-certified automatic calibre BALL RR1101-C drives hours, minutes, sweep seconds and a magnified date, shielded by a Mu-metal cage rated to 80,000A/m and Ball's Amortiser anti-shock system to 5,000Gs. After dark, 19 micro gas tubes glow in a spectrum of colours across the hands and dial. Water resistant to 100 metres and finished on a 904L bracelet with folding buckle, it is made in just 1,000 pieces.

About Ball
Ball traces its roots to Ohio's railroads. After the Great Kipton train wreck of April 1891, jeweller Webb C. Ball was appointed Chief Time Inspector, and his strict inspection standards reshaped American railroad timekeeping. The Webb C. Ball Watch Company was formed in 1894 to distribute railroad watches, and in 2001 Ball introduced the first mechanical watch lit by micro gas tubes.
